QUESTIONING AS A LEADING DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES FOR ANALYS SKILLS

Abstract

The current work deals with the significance of questioning method as an effective tool to develop students’ analitical skills and increase the effectiveness of the teaching process. It shows that questions play an immens iportance providing the effectiveness of the teaching process if they are asked continually during the whole lesson and the development of analitical skills is fulfilled through the open – ended questions formed according to Bloom’s Taxonomy. This approach allows the students to form the objectives and outcomes of the given lesson on their own as well as they gain an ability to form proper questions. The work gives a chance to solve the lack of motivation while theching the complicated Mathematical themes. The questioning method contributes to the students increased participation and involvement in the lesson. This method may become an inseparable part of the math’s lesson as well as any chosen new method may be accompanied with the above – mentioned method. If used constantly open – ended questions, free discussions become frequent creating a motivating environment for students to make their conclusions and comments. The students acquire an ability to form questions, to define the objectives and outcomes of the lesson on their own and learn to teach through using questions and learn themselves.
