RESEARCH ACTIVITY OF YOUNGER STUDENTS AS A MEANS OF FORMING VALUES

The role of accumulation of research experience by younger schoolchildren on mathematical content in the formation of value relations, including their cognitive, affective, activity components, is shown. The positive influence of research activity on the achievement of three types of planned results of primary education is substantiated. Research skills are attributed to metasubject results, the formation of value relations, the development of educational and cognitive motivation are attributed to personal ones. Subject results are also improved: in the course of research, there is a deeper understanding of mathematical material. The expediency and importance of including all younger schoolchildren in research activities, and not only the most capable ones, is shown. A differentiated approach to learning has been chosen as a means, an example of which is described in relation to a specific research task in mathematics.
