PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL FEATURES FORMATION OF AESTHETIC VALUES IN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS

The paper highlights the psychological and pedagogical features of the problem of the formation of aesthetic values in the process of teaching mathematics in High school, which is primarily due to the presence of streaming education. The pedagogical benefits of the problem of the formation of aesthetic values in the process of teaching mathematics in the humanitarian and natural-mathematical streams are considered from the point of view of approaches to teaching mathematics in these streams, as well as the choice of teaching methods. In particular, we emphasized the role of value-oriented teaching mathematics, especially in the humanities. Taking into account that the problem of the formation of aesthetic values is closely related to the mental phenomena of students, here we considered the features of the manifestation of the latter in the humanitarian and natural-mathematical flows. In particular, we focused on the manifestations of the emotions of fear, disgust, surprise, satisfaction, joy, as well as their relationship with the characteristics of scientific beauty. We also looked at attention, memory, imagination, thinking and their relationship with the peculiarities of scientific beauty in the process of teaching mathematics.
